LONG 8mm size QR seatpost skewer (old style chromed affair with plastic cover on lever)... I want one about EDIT 1cm EDIT shorter and it seems a shame to cut mine down (it has a whopping 60mm shaft of which 27mm is threaded). Pics to follow
I'm bound to have one of these in the bits box if you want a shorter one. Maybe not Shimano but one of the copies...you might also just swap out the threaded part like a wheel QR - it screws into the clamp head.
