Sintesi Bazooka Downhill Bike, 2000. This is a fantastically restored retro downhill bike, as built back in 2000 using all period componentry. This bike has seen NO downhill action, it was bought by myself in 2000, and sold to a work collegue who has only ever used it on the road in 9 years. I bought it back and set about restoring it to its former glory.
Spec:
Sintesi Bazooka 19" Downhill frame still with original manual and waranty information (Original colours green main frame with anodised blue swing arm)
Marzocchi Bomber Jnr T Triple clamp forks complete with stantion protectors
Pair of downhill wheels to include Goldtec Draco hubs built using rim brake Mavic 521 SUP rims.
8 speed XT rear mech and shifter. (All new cables)
Brand new never ridden SRAM chain
DMR chain device
Planet X bars
Kore stem
Magura Frog hydraulic rim brakes (a classic still with original box and build instructions)
Sintesi seat post
FSA crankset
DMR V10 pedals
New shimano XT crank
Tioga downhill saddle
Rear swingarm needle roller bearings have been replaced and greased on build.
Marzocchi 'The Boss' rear damper (perfect in performance)
The bike could do with a good pair of tyres in my opinion, it has the only tyres I had around on it. A 2.5 Michelin downhill on the front, and a 2.1 on the rear.
This bike could do with either going to an enthusiast, or to someone who intends to use it how it was originally meant.
