MAG 21 based air/ oil Specialized FSX
Right, thats the good bit over, its all downhill from here:
One leg is perfectly ok, the secon leg could be jammed closed and just requiring air (I dont have a fork pump). The brace is cracked where someone has bodged the canti mount but still useable as it is not a structural crack, just a peice missing..
When holes lose their thread, you helicoil them, which puts a steel insert in that gives you a shit hot thread and is often stronger than the original.
Anyway, rather than do this, somebody drilled the leg out to take a larger diameter cantimount. So, I have one good leg and one bad which makes these forks 'spares or repairs'
Cosmetics, they are near perfect at about 8/10
Functionality - 3/10
