I come from Vietnam. I do not write English very well. My problem is that I have 2 Trek's MTB frames, but I don't know exactly which one. From the information on the chassis I think it is TREK 8000, 1992, size 16.5
We hope for you to comment. I really like it, I want to rebuild

Looks like a Trek bonded aluminium frame. Could have been an 8000, but also one of the other variants. You can make it a top of the range 1991 8500 with the right components.

I have one, see here viewtopic.php?f=6&t=377478

Yours certainly looks to have bosses/lugs etc in the same place.
Is that the remains of red paint? The 1992 7000 was red....

I'll check serial numbers on mine for similarity.

All the frames were the same, just different parts for these alloy bonded ones. 91 frames had the front mech cable stop and 92 and 93 had the cool little widget that goes on the front mech itself. Really liked mine tbh. Be great to see what you have planned. Restoration or retromod?
