Sad day, the Pace is for sale 
I had a great time restoring this bike earlier this year, but a new business venture forces its sale. It's a beaut and decked out with all original components, original paint on the frame and new day-glo yellow on the steel bits.
A full rebuild can be found here here, but here is a summary:
- 21" Pace RC-100 frame (serial number RC0272) - lovely original paint and gentle patina consistent with age
- Original cranks, stem and for legs re-painted in fluoro by Argos (new decals)
- Original Reynolds shimmed handlebars
- XT thumbies and other M735 goodness
- Original XC-Pro front mech
- Overhauled Maguras
- Restored M737s SPDs
- Repro Turbo saddle
- NOS Smoke / Dart tyres
- Mavic 231 / 517 rims laced to Pace hubs
Everything works as it should and it rides beautifully. I've ridden it no more than four times since the rebuild, so it's essentially as close to a new RC-100 as you'll get. It will be sorely missed.
