Team Aero Pro Burner

P20HEM

Retro Newbie
Hi all,
I'm new to this (or any) forum so stay with me if I waffle!. Back in 1984, to replace my Super Tuff Burner, I got a Team Aero Pro Burner for Christmas. Underneath the bottom bracket is stamped- Tange Japan T4C0108. I believe this makes it a MK2 model. I was 14 then and so used the bike for a few years until I started riding mountain bikes when I got a bit older. The bike has sat in my parents garage since then and is now sat in mine. The thing is, as much as I still love it I am no longer giving it the attention/riding it needs and it will just sit there and be neglected!. As such, I think it's time for it to go to somebody who'll love it as much as me!. And so we get to why I have written on this site. I don't really want to just stick it on ebay as it could go to somebody who will not appreciate it. So my question is, do any of you know where is the best place to advertise the bike and how much are they currently worth as I understand they are quite rare?. Remember, I used it like any BMX mad 14-17 year old would so it isn't in perfect condition and it has sat at the back of the garage for 26 years since then!.
Any helpful answers would be very much appreciated!.

Greets, And welcome, Okie's firstly you need to post some pics, several reasons, firstly so we can admire your trusty childhood ride, and secondly so we can help you find a home for it. There are many forums where you can sell your steed, and many valuations will be given, pricing is very subjective with some bikes commanding mega bucks whilst others go for pocket money prices. There is always a plethora of Burners on eBay, as they sold in the 1000's back in the day, they were after all the staple diet of many a BMX'er ;)

Look forward to seeing it,

Jussa :D

Hi, sorry about that!. Here's some pictures. Apart from the tyres and the awful green chain ring guard (which was a 1980's teenage fashion disaster and is easily resprayed) it is all original and as I got it in 1984.
