got a hold of the black/gold suntour rear derailleur, and the downtube-shifters.

was this a group-set?..theres a right crankset arm on ebay, but cant find anything or pictures online..except on rear derailleur..

anyone got info? links..

cheers

That looks lush ...for the right build - of course

I recently had a slightly earlier Superbe mech in my hands for the 1st time. Though they do not really look really 'lean', it felt surprisingly light. This while outperforming about everyhing else in shifting too. Great stuff.

the plan is to try and see if i can get the more parts (but thinks its pricey)
and build my blue Nishiki Olympic with it.. its got a gold headtube, so will look the part..
found a right crank-arm on us-ebay.. but 165 mm..
so if you should find interesting suntour parts, give me a pm.
cheers

interesting! never seen this gold suntour before. Looking at the shape of the mech, with the pivot well below the parallelogram, I'd say it was for very wide ratios. Suntour were renowned for touring stuff

I seem to remember a Cannondale Black Lightning that came with a limited edition black Superbe Pro groupset.
