What is the original colour of a Phillips cycle from the 70's

Is it dark green?

Thanks

The ones from the 40’s & 50’s seem to be mostly green & some black....not sure about a 70’s model... or was Philips taken over by Raleigh??

Phillips made a whole range of bikes and colours, and were part of the TI group that bought Raleigh and others as the commuter cycle manufacturing was declining. Phillips were known more for cycle components exported and used by many makers.

Typical Raleigh, BSA and Phillips roadster commuter bikes were either black or dark green, with alternative Raleigh makes having their own distinctive colours. Humber dark blue and Rudge dark red.
