Centurian cadenza mixte appraisal

Hi I got a Centurion 4130 cadenza and I was curious to know how much its was worth?
I'm cleaning all the parts and its all just surface rust. I reckon it will come up nice.

Basic frame, heavy components. A nice bike as transport with a value to match. £100 on a good day if well-prepared to a lady who likes the colour?

Twin-lat mixte frames lack rigidity and therefore are rather hard work on hilly terrain. They also tend not to handle nicely if loaded. Two thin tubes are less stiff (for the same weight) than a single larger diameter tube.

Hi hamster, thanks for the reply. I do agree with you about the Mixte being hard to handle on hilly terrain. I'd never ridden one till the other week due to my roads bikes being out of commission.
