Contour Super Royal selim

I bought a 'new' saddle for my Imholz, it's a contour super Royal, it's in really great condition for its age, can't find out too much about this saddle other than Gazelle used them, anyone know more about these?

I have a white / cream one, with Roger De Vlaeminck written on the side. One 30-mile ride so far and it wasn't too kind on my behind!

Curiously neither of the two seat bolts have washers and have never worked loose.

Waking in the middle of the night...cold sweat...OMG...it could snap under my 55kgs bulk...did I put the dog out...should I get a dog...what about the children...

And then the penny dropped...is there supposed to be washers/spacers under the top part that supports the top and sits on the bottom arm?

Now I neeeeeed to know

..............I was thinking more along the lines that a washer would help stop the seat lug being chewed up.
