I've had a set of 1960's TA Anquetil plates (brand new in bag with tacks) that I put on eBay for £15.00 and didn't get a whisper of a reply......good luck!

Were the Anquetil plates the ones with the big curved plate attached? Bit of a limited audience

Have you still got them?

yes indeed....the long plates were meant to stiffen the sole so they were favoured by sprinters, they're still knocking around in a spare parts draw somewhere

I've got a pair of them as well! They were the 'Anquetil' version. He apparently preferred the long ones. I used them BITD and they were not the easiest thing to fit correctly. Shoes with built-in shoeplates were a godsend!
