for those of you lucky enough to be into road racing "back in the day", then you'll no doubt be familiar with Claude Criquelion. I've just read that he died last month, aged only 58 years old. Claudy was a tough as Belgian nails and was always seen mixing it with the best of them. My favourite race featuring Criquelion was ironically one that ended up in disaster for him, but what a great race up to that point. he made cycling look effortless!
