My 9 speed Ultegra seized on me a while back and I decided to strip it down to see what the problem was. I couldn't see anything obvious and gave it a clean and now I am attempting to rebuild it using Shimano's exploded diagram and reading a couple of guides on the net.
I was wondering if anyone here has rebuilt their STI shifter and if so can they share their experience or any tips? Also, did you use the special tool for the spring as recommended by Shimano and if so, where did you purchase this from?
