Hi guys,

Just bought a it raleigh frame today, but can't really find any info to help me date it and then begin the rebuild...

The frame has a number on the seat tube ND 2023727

Can anyone help? Or point me in the right direction?
 
Can you post a picture of it?

The ND frame number means it's a 'gas pipe' mass produced bike, as ones built at the Lightweight unit have a W prefix.

As I said, the pictures are from the 1983 brochure, and this was the last incarnation of this model, it had been running for a few years beforehand, and the spec and decals will have changed with each model year.

Would make sense thomas there are no reynolds stickers on it

Also still has the water bottle and cage...

Who is Thomas?!

from memory, the later Europa's had the Europa name on the top tube, although most of these appear to have been removed, so the bike 'looked' more like the Team bike..
 
Who knows, autocorrect... Lol

Yeah I think I can just about make out the p and a of Europa on the top tube... But looks like someone's tried to remove it...

So bog standard tubing around 1983 then
