A month ago I got back into cycling and bought a new CX for my work commute part of which is over some fairly rough track. I have also been doing some road riding but some realised that I would get a better ride with a road orientated bike.
I looked at new bikes but there was nothing in my price range that I really wanted, I also had an idea that a steel frame would be good for the not so perfect roads around here. I searched a bit and nearly bought an italian Perna but discovered it had some pretty serious cracks in the head tube.
Yesterday I picked up a Rossin Columbus framed road bike. I think it is from the 1980's and at the lower end of their range however it has the original forks and is fully marked up as a Rossin. The gearing has been upgraded to Campagnola Chorus and I was very impressed on my brief ride today.
Does anyone have any information on identifying Rossin models and year on the forum?
