I've got some secondhand Mavic 650b rims to replace the bent chrome steel ones on my Peugeot 3-speed commuter, so it should actually stop in the wet now.
I'll be wanting to re-use the Sturmey Archer hub gear from the original back wheel, and have got a Maillard hub for the front.
Can anyone recommend a wheel builder within 25 miles of Manchester who won't mind building the wheels up from the bits I provide?
Or can this be attempted as a DIY job by a numpty with no previous experience?
