Did you ever buy something that was marketed specifically for bikes or cyclists and feel a bit disappointed when you used it?
I bought this grease a while back from my LBS. It seemed thin and after the first ride I noticed that quite a lot of it had blown out of the headset and back along the frame. In the process it messed up some decals by getting under their edges. Later I noticed that the steering started to become stiff. Then, a couple of weeks ago I dismantled the headset and found that while there was still plenty of grease, what was left was now solid - after only 18 months. (Yesterday I stripped an early 1980s Super Record derailleur and the grease in that was in better condition!)
