Currently my Colnago Master has the following fitted:
Dura Ace 7700 downtube shifters (8 speed)
Dura Ace 7700 Front Mech
Dura Ace 7700 Rear Short Mech
8 speed Chain
42/53 Chainset
12-25 9 speed Ultegra 6500 cassette (only using 13-25)
In order to use it for the Bealach Na Ba Sportive, I'm going to need better ratios. I have the following parts, so the plan is...
Dura Ace 7700 9 speed shifters (New)
Ritchey WCS Compact 34/50 (Used, but only minimal wear visible on the 34)
9 speed Ultegra 6500 Chain (New)
12-27 9 speed Ultegra 6500 Cassette (new)
Dura Ace Mech as above
Is anyone with experience able to tell me if this will work please?
