Can you put brake shift levers on a 6 speed (12 speed)?

New to this retro road bike thing haha

Thanks

Generally speaking the cogs on a 6 speed freewheel are too far apart but theoretically you could use Campag 8 speed Ergos on a Suntour Ultra 6 speed freewheel with a Campg 8 speed rear mech. Never tried it though.

Mark.

Have a look here where Modolo Morphos are discussed: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=131462

They are compatible with a number of different setups, I didn't but any in the end, but they seemed to be regarded as OK.

i have successfully used campag 8 speed ergos with a full shimano 6 speed back end. It worked faultlessly and I'm a fussy bugger with stuff like that.
