Internal cable routing

Now that I've bought a new frame, I will be selling my old one. The old one comes with internal cable routing and uses a single continuous housing. What do people typically do in these cases - leave the housing in the frame or not? My plan is to reuse the housing and cables on my new build if possible, so I'd like to remove them from the frame before I sell it.

Is that kosher?

Most (but not all) internally routed top-tubes will allow the housing to be removed and replaced easily
Both my internally cabled bikes let the outer housing slide right through no-sweat
