Hey, I recently purchased a 1988 Koga Miyata Randonneur frame (not the Randonneur extra) I read somewhere that some of the Randonneur frames had a tendency to develop cracks around the holes for the internalcable routing, but Im not sure if that applies only to the Randonneur Extra, or also to the Randonneur. They both lack the reinforcement braze-ons that showed up on later frames. Anybody knowledgeable about these specific frames?
Beyond that, did they mean "touring" by randonneur? This thing has provisions for front/rear racks and seems rather beefy for my definition of Randonneur.
