hmm, i would hazard a guess at 1984. i don't remember ever seeing a TI Raleigh with anything but the flat crown unless it was specifically made at a later date at the customer's request in those colours. the panasonic coloured frames (from 1984? onwards) were available with the internal or externally sloping crowns from cinelli. the SC and the SCA if my aged memory serves me correctly..i always liked the external job and that's what you'll see on the pro's bikes from back then. i was told that it was a stronger crown than the internally sloping version.
