Brampton Bottom Bracket?

after thinking the bottom bracket on my "enfield" was an Chater-Lea, i can now admit i made an mistake

i removed the chainset last week an today just started to clean up the bottom bracket (its still in the frame)

i have noticed on one of the cups it has stamped "Brampton"

the bottom bracket is till quite smooth so i will be hopefully removing an refitting it

anyone know anything about them?

mine has a grease nipple on the bottom bracket shell on the frame

Hello,

I've got a bike with a Brampton BB as well, although mine is shot and
really needs replacing, sadly. Mine has an unusual raised lip across the middle of the cups for a spanner, rather than either flats on the side
of the cups or holes for a pin spanner.
