Retro Newbie
Apologies if this post is duplicated. I recently acquired a vintage Claud Butler, Fillet brazed frame, I would like to find out which model it is. The frame no is 507, (which I believe dates it July 1950) 4206. It is a single speed that appears to have been like it since new, brakes are Weinmann Alpha, front wheel is a Maillard Normandy large flange, the rear is a Chater Lea, with a French Rigida rim, they look original. The bars are Italian ITM, with an unbranded stem, the crank is a recent Stronglight 80. The bike is complete and rides well, it has been repainted at some time and has incorrect decals and no head badge, it also has some later chromplastic mudguards, possibly Esge's. It has a weird and wonderful dynamo fitted just behind the BB that powers the lights and still works.
Can anyone identify the model from the frame no? it looks like an International club.

Definitely some photos will help here. They will make it a lot easier.
Maybe use a photo hosting site like google images or flickr.com etc.
Cheers

Jamie
