Hi folks, sorry to ask this as I'm sure this has been covered before (but searching klein headset brigs thousands of matches), but does anyone have some info they can offer on headset reducers?? I have a machine shop at home so machining the diameters is not a problem. What my question is, is the original klein bearings are set straight inside the headtube, with the original forks up flush to the bearings ( I don't have thise forks to look at), and I want to put on some ond manitou ones. My questionis I suppose as much about fork length. . . as do Imachine just some straight reducers, or shall I engineer it so that my new lower head race sits up inside the head tube, or indeed protruding from the head tube. Can anyone give me the 'protrusion dimension'??
