so decided i needed a trek downtown. and a good thing i did!

first thing on the agenda, was to pick up this...

i think it's seen more DUST than it has seen pavement, let alone dirt! :shock:

next was a visit to the old bike shop i use to frequent when i lived at home with my parents. it's been there as long as i can remember. rummaged around and found me some of these NOS... not sure if i have a use or need for them, but snapped them up anyway. worst comes to worse, i'll share with the community. ;)

they are all "flat rings" so there's no chain pick up it looks, guessing for SS purposes???

lastly i found a decent NOS stem i can use on the Amplifier till i sort out what i'm doing with it...

a little scuffed here and there, and some minor dings, but nothing major.

Wow, a 1992 Stratos size 15.5, with triple-butted Tange forks. Can't be many of those around.

Must have been a pretty small rider to need a road stem to get the bars that low! One child owner?
