Middleburn RS3 help

I just read that current Middleburn square taper cranks have a different taper than the older ones.

I have some RS3's, will they work on a standard Shimano BB or will I need something older?

Any advice would be much appreciated as I don;t want to crack them

I've got RS 7's and 8's on my bikes but my old SS has RS3's on it and I'm using the same sq taper BB as the others. Done a few thousand miles on it with no problems as yet...

Square tapers are 2°, but there are different types, ISO & JIS

yup, rubbish, all 2°.
And m'burn is fine on a shimano taper. .

RS1,2 and 3 square hole sits at 45% to later models. That's the only difference. Taper is the same.
