mavic sup rim with deore hub..question

I just bought a mavic sup rim with deore hub, the seller now wants to cancel the transaction after i won because he says the rim is 24 inch rather than 26 inch...

I need to know if mavic made these rims in 24 inch..it seems unlikely to me..i find it probable that the guy does not want to sell me the wheel for £4 + £6 post....

so any advise on this would be welcome...

it all depends on how you measure it. there's a way of measuring mtb wheels that comes out to 24in

the key number on an MTB mavic rim is 559

just tell him you will take it either way as you have a fleet of bikes :)

Mavic have, to the best of my knowledge, never made a 24" rim. 24" wheels are almost entirely UK specific as everyone else in the world knows what side of the fence they prefer and ride 20" or 26".

That looks to me like a 117sup CD rim. I have sold one very similar recently to someone on here. To my knowledge this rim was always a 26" and not available in 24".

Virtually all the rims Mavic make are either 26" or 700C. They did make a 20" BMX rim at one point but they've never made a 24" rim that I know of.
