Sach Wavey - help needed

Has anyone taken apart Sach Wavey shifters

I've had Grip shifts apart but the Sach's are different and sprung loaded - does anyone have some info on them

I know its NOT rocket science but they aren't quiet as straight forward as first thought -

Hi Nick,

There's a small port door for the cable replacement.
The grip section just pulls off the cable housing in line with the handlebar.
There's a locating dog that needs to be aligned when re-assembling.

Here's the page from the service manual for the Neos, which IIRC is the same unit as the older Wavey:

Yep, took mine apart to see how they worked. The info Dan posted above looks familiar.

Are you having trouble getting the spring back in? AFAICR that was the only fiddly bit
