seen a bear valley for sale near me ...looks like a terrible paint job on it..still tempted even tho it could be a mess...what would it be worth?

It should definitely be saved. My first MTB was a Bear Valley SE so I am probably slightly biased. As to value? It might help to ask the question here:

Nice and original, make sure that seatpost moves though, it's a long way in.

the guy had spray painted over every bit of rust...which was basically the whole bike, couldnt even see if anything was original.
I offered £50 and he blew up and had a hissy fit...i laught and walked off.
its on cardiff gumtree if anyone is interested...guy is a dick tho.
