I'm after some advice on the best way to fit a new star nut into the steerer of my judy sl's. The internal size is 20mm and I'm having issues getting the star to go in straight.

There are specific tools for the job for not much £ but before I had invested in one, I used to use a hammer and screwdriver and got good enough results.
When you trade up and have good components, you want to treat them well so a small investment in a proper tool will pay you back many times over.
