Respraying suspension frames?

With the demise of Armourtex and reliable successors seemingly thin on the ground this may never actually become an issue.. however!

I've mostly stripped down a Diamond Back S10 much like this

and I see now that there are plastic/rubber washers riveted to some of the pivot points. Has anyone tackled these before as i can't see how they'd be dealt with non-destructively and they would be destroyed if i got the frame powder coated (as is my pref)?

HNY!

If you go into the troubles of new paint, why not using new bushes than? They're wearing parts. Where is the point in having a new paint and old bushings? :D

I doubt that. Pic?
But if they really are, I would think that frame is not worth the cost and effort of new paint. You might be better off buying a better frame for the same money thay you would have to pay for a new powder coat. Some of those suspension frames are really cheap these days.
