Can anyone help. Trying to build my old Pine mountain up and a friend very kindly gave me a set of cranks but I don't know what length bottom bracket to get for it. It's a standard square taper 68mm I know but I know length affects chainline etc. I've read sheldon 'genius' brown's writeup on chainline and, well, my mind is much too simple to understand that. (I'm just happy if I remember my name

The crankset going on it is this Shimano FC-M73C.
I've got a knackered old 120mm bottom bracket I can try but no idea what chainline to look out for (I know how to measure chainline just not what it should be). Any help greatly appreciated.
