Im in need of some advice on how to this, as there isnt any info online. with aluminium i would make a caustic soda bath but will this also work with titanium? Or is anodising ti a different process?

Thanks :)

Couldn't be more different.
Can you post a picture?

Mechanical process would be best, only chemical method is hydrofloric acid, which can kill you on skin contact. Dead.

This is the sort of Saturday morning question that makes it worth getting out of bed.

Coloured finishes on Ti are oxides and chemicals used to remove it are either HF or HCL based, both very dangerous chemicals and to be avoided at all costs, as your life is at risk! We use HF acids at the Uni and we have to wear full body suits at the concentrations we use, once HF gets into you it is almost impossible to remove and it attacks the skeleton all the time. Mechanical removing is the safest way or have re coloured to improve the finish.
