I cant find the thread but I seem to remember someone having one of these and thinking that their frame had been threaded wrong.
Just the BB. They do exist. The 'first' sealed shimano BBs were plastic cup on the drive side.
I've just repaired a neighbour's kids bike with one. A 2014 Carerra with a 1991 bottom bracket! Ha!
