AMP Fork Spring Creak

Hi all

A simple question to a small annoyance.

The spring in my Amp F3XC fork creaks.

Does anyone know if this is the spring or the interaction between the spring and the aluminium of the fork, and more importantly how do you bloody stop it!!!!

There's a couple of things it could maybe be; damper oil low or more likely the bushings are worn.
It its only just started you can grease the bushings which will help, but they will need replacing eventually.
I'd suggest the greasing first and see how long it lasts for..

It's probably the bushes creaking rather than the spring. The bushes are designed to run dry, greasing accelerates wear by trapping dirt in them. How much play is there when you put the front brake on and rock it back and forward?
