Mrs K and I were out in Tuscany and I came across this outside a butcher's shop and had to take a picture ... not quite as nice as the Bamboo bike posted here a few weeks back, but a bit of fun nonetheless.

Excellent. Those bars are amazing, unless they've just covered over a normal bar with some bamboo?

There were some bit that look like it was just a bike wrapped in bamboo but the main tubes were the real deal.

I remember thinking the bars couldn't be bamboo - the shape was too uniform and I don't think it would take the flexing

My brother actually owns one the same. Unfortunately the vast majority is bamboo or wicker covering a fairly standard bike. Pretty cool none the less tho.
