hi all
well it's that time of year again. toxik harald's annual cruiser ride and bike show.
we did pretty well last year for our first year with full on mountain bikes in attendance. :D
shaping up to be even better this year. i'd like to extend an invite to all
retrobikers in the british columbia lower mainland and vancouver island
area to come out for a day of fun. bring a bike if you want or just come by
and say hi and check it out.
we particularly want to see all those bc west coast rides. brodie, dekerf, rocky mountain
offroad toad, rektek. hell, we'll even welcome norco, niskiki and kona's.
i know there are a few of you. chickenball, canuckinboston, jkelly, sansarret,
walleater, dillbike, jhoreth to name a few. hoping tony will make an appearance
with `the jellybean'
myself, roc6839 and jimbotoad will be there in full force again. along with
vintageman from mtbr.
this year is the 20th anniversary of this cruiser ride event. we've planned
something a little special to commemorate the occasion. some recognition
to rod kirkham the man behind all of this. not to mention mountain & beach cycles
the home of offroad toad mountain bikes. who knows maybe a toad or two
or four might be in attendance. would that make the largest group of toads ever
assembled? other than jim's basement that is.
so come on down and be part of the fun. your support is what makes it all
worth while.
hope to see you there
roy

i think i've decided which bikes to bring in this year- looking forward to see who's bringing what. the weather should be stellar for everyone who comes out, cruisers and mtb'ers alike. anybody who can, should come out to the show and bring an old steed or three- the more, the merrier!!

Oh, crud, the wife's working this weekend and I have the kids and they definitely do not share my passion for bikes! :(

I remember Ocean and Beach and the Toad's. Custom bikes like the toads and "real" Brodies were too rich for my blood. It would be cool to see some again.
