I'm off next week to watch the tour (b.day present from my wonderful misses! stages 13-15) and this is the first time i'll have been to see it, so any advice on viewing?
I've got the route off the official website how reliable are these? also we were thinking of driving up to the route (on another road) and then just being there when it zooms past, but how realisitic is this, how packed is it? and how long before the Caravan comes does the road close?
any help/advice would be appreciated!

Lucky bloke. I want to see the tour in France a mountain climb section would be cool. Also go to Le Mans 24 hour one day
