Frame weights

GT Tempest and Backwoods, any idea? I'm guessing Backwoods being the heaviest?

Yep, this. The only thing that changed was the component spec.

Actually quite like these frames. They're a bit jarring as a ride but not too heavy when built with decent parts and bombproof as well

Yeah, I really like them both! Backwoods geometry does look quite different when they're side by side! Also, Backwoods bottom tube has a significantly larger diameter, almost the same as Zaskar! Would be interesting to see Avalanche and Backwoods side by side!

Backwoods are pretty cheap, just picked up a complete '97 spec for 40 quid! Try getting Zaskar for that with a similar spec? You wouldn't even buy the frame for that! Zaskar is commanding way too much wonga imo! Especially as I've just picked up a rough Richter for 20 quid, complete bike, albeit not original but still complete!
