Rolf dolomite wheels

What is the general consensus on the Rolf dolomite wheels? Good? Bad? Ugly?

Picked up a very tidy pair of rim brake wheels and I'm guessing around 96?
They are dark red rim with black twin spokes and black hubs.

I have a set on my Trek oclv, came as standard on the '01 model. Also i think they came on Klein's of the same era.

Very nice wheels and have stood up fine for my general rocky/rooty xc riding.

Ah ok, a bit later than I hoped, came off a Gary Fisher that apparently had them as original equipment, along with m950 groupset so must have been changed at some point then.

Destined for my Giant MCM so think they will still work ok.

Cheers :)

Not sure what year they started making them, i have seen different ones so may be earlier.

Is the groupset actually 950 or a variation, 952/3 etc? as m952 ran until 2002 i think and is 9 speed, whereas 950 is 8 speed.

950, picked up the groupset while I was at it.
These may be MK1 wheels, so I think they should fit in with the build.

:)

Re:

They are decent wheels imho. Had a set and never had any issues. Nice looking too.

Re:

They are in very good condition now I have given them a quick clean up.

Still wanting an m950 set though...
