That's it :D

Thought the early types of fluoro were a different kind of paint compared to this scarred example?

I have a well used pair of Onza bar ends that came on a 1992 Saracen . The colour is a fluorescent lime green/yellow in an almost matt paint finish , they are of the internal expanding variety ( similar to the green examples above ) but having a shorter extension . I now realise that the slight staining to the paint finish is where moulded rubber covers should fit on the ends ( as per photo ) unfortunately these covers have been lost over the years
