As per title I have for sale my all original Marin frame, fork, headset. It measures 19” centre to top which looks like Marin would size as a 17.5” (medium). It has a 22.5” (actual) top tube length.
The frame and forks are from a bike that remained unchanged from new until i fitted a new headset a couple weeks ago. It’s a blank, sealed bearing brushed aluminium type so in keeping with the look of the bike.
The frame has the original Float R in good working order and the Manitou V-Vert Ti forks. Elastomers all in tact and work lovely. All adjustments are functional.
I’ve sourced a bit of a ‘unicorn’ frame for me so this has to go. If i hadn't found it’s particular replacement I’d not consider selling it. The Marin is fantastic.
It is in very good shape for its age. There are some ‘veins’ under the clear coat on the front end where water has crept in. I’ve not seen a raw lacquered frame that hasn’t experienced this.
The yellow back to end and forks are in good shape with minor marks from use.
It’s a fantastic retro looking frame and fork combo that just work so well.
