    Diamant Road Bike: Modell 109. 1958. The Head tube badge is missing. Its definately East German (DDR) made.

    Diamant Decals say Factory Karl Marx Stad, which was in East Germany (now Chemnitz in Germany)... It has wing nut front and back hub spindle locking nuts. I think the brake has AFA stamped on it ??? more photos to follow tomorrow... Frame number is 3469899

    Best Eroica Hill Climber Racer/Road bike???

    I’ve got a ‘85 Record Sprint. It a lovely ride , but it’s a difficult ride up the steep hills of Cornwall.. Can anyone suggest a pre 1985 Racer with 14 or 21 gears as standard fitting make and model please????
