    Royal Mail charges

Post office and royal mail are not the same business. Why should the post office do a job for royal mail for free? I know it sounds stupid, but, is this stupidity just a symptom of all "services" now 🤣

    92 team marin......well....almost....

They are actually only on there as they are easy to remove. They will be swapped out with some racers edge extra chunky (big hands), but they are a devil to get off/ on without splitting them. However, i use those ergons on my touring bike and they are very good. Has anybody tried the sqlab...

    92 team marin......well....almost....

A warm day...with a blue sky and far far less bugs than last week. Last week was disgusting....bugs in hair, nose, eyes, clothes.....urrrrgh. Also, a good day for my first proper off road sojourn. Blimey I've missed Tange Prestige. Last 2 years (other than the odd retro blast on 89) have...

what retro bikes are best to avoid if looking to use regularly off road?

Bikes kitted out like that are now cheap. £150 would buy you a good bike..... I know everybody wants xtr or xt, but tbh....there's very little in it for us mere mortals.🤣

what retro bikes are best to avoid if looking to use regularly off road?

As for bits.....deore or lx with metal levers and cantilevers. Cheap as chips and plenty about, so if you total a bit they are less painful to replace. MT62 deore would be my first choice for a good usable retro. Tie that to some mavic m231 rims and off you go....retro heaven.

    Roberts White Spider

Slackboy is exactly right. Originals were cut at the pinned joint, so are easy to tell. They are very very rare. Most are mistaken for cutdowns when they are just 26" mavic.

Sold The “Feck me I'm 50” clothing bundle bonanza

I read the headline of that post completely wrong. I thought it said ......feck me im 50"...... I assumed the bundle no longer fitted you at an average of 36" 🤣 Glad to hear its a fashion choice rather than " pie assisted" necessity.
