I didn't say that, I want to restore it for the fun, but I want something that will sell at the end of it. no mention of doing it for profit.

I'm wanting to restore another steel roadie, budget is tight on this one, so looking for something cheap but reputable. Any ideas on what I could be looking for? Looking more for enjoyment of bringing something back to its former glory than anything but I also want something that is saleable at...

Re: A very big thank you to Michael for sending me an original head tube badge. I've also just purchased a San Marco regal titanium saddle with black leather, that should finish it off.

Re: Have you tried lots of penetrative oil and brute force? It worked when I got the Gios, soaked over night and got someone to hold the bike while I twisted in an old seat. I did almost break my face when it finally went, but it came free.
