How much for a fork adaptor?.

Cheers Phill77 :) Its ben 6 years since I stipped it down. I was hit by intense case of Inflamatory Arthritis which put pay to my cycling. I miss cycling so much..its been the one of the worst things about my condition...but I really need to get back in the saddle..Ive put on so much...

Hi half cog, Could you tell me the size of the seat clamps.? I also have a Double Edge frame which I am building up...but have lost the seat collars. Cheers!

Cheers! coomber.. Yes...i really have no idea what it's worth..i know it was not a cheap frame when it was new for sure...was a very classy ride...the kind i looked at back then and thought "Like one of those!"...lol I did that with the Nishiki Alien...but the forward facing brop outs...

Also have a Mongoose NX7 frame..looks like the one in this picture..same colour scheme....ideas?...Worth?

So..any thoughts on what my Mantis frame is worth? Going by the pictures I posted(green frame)...As it is my intension to probably sell...but i would like to know what folks might be willing to pay. Maybe as a frame set with Amp forks!(which i have also) I really need the money as I am...

AH! ..Man!...the Diamondback takes me back to my 1st MB...Diamond Apex from 88...in the same smoke lilac paint. I was told they painted the frames and while still wet they used coloured smoke cannisters underneath the frame to make the smoke effect. Probably not true...but sounds cool.!....lol.

Hi Ken, Well the picture are from when I purchased the frame. It has since been in the box it arrived in..I took it out to look at it of course....but I have not looked at it since i moved 4 years ago!. I would say its probably in as good nick as it is in the pictures...I brought the Amp...

So....?....Any suggestions how much my Mantis frame is worth?. Nice piece of retro MBing....was very pricey in its day. I think I have a set of Amp forks to go with it.... Would make a nice ride... 8) :wink:

They did sell for under 2Grand...not bad..And it looks like it would ride well. MAN!...I miss riding my Colella. :cry: I miss riding FULL STOP because of this BL**** Arthritis!.

Could have been a Orbit......Orbit make a Ful Sus Tandem....could look very similar....if you don't get a good look....they tend to be red.

The chance are the folks you saw riding the Colella was me and partner...lol.... If I am correct..he only built 10 Full sus tandems..at least that's what I was told at the time...He may have built more..but not many. So chances of seeing 1 is slim. I have a pictures of us riding ti...

OK!!!......found pics of my Mantis frame.

I was at Colella workshop when he was building the bike for the Show....I wnet to the show also and have pictures of the bike. It also appeared on the local news..he was asking something like £8000 for it. He never got to sell it for that...as I meet the guy who DID buy it a few years...

And!....A pic of my old Nisihki Alien..It almost killed me..3 times!!.. The rear wheel brop out faces forward...and as such.. as I got out the saddle to ut the power on..I'd rip the wheel out of the frame....no matter how much I tightened the skewer...I bumped this with the Colella tandem frame...

As i said...I have pictures...but can't find them right now.... And before you say... Can't I take new pictures?...No... as the frame is still boxed and hidden att he back of a full spare room of boxes from my move 4 years ago!!!... So..I'm not about to dig it out for some snaps....I will...

I have a Mantis Pro Floater frame..in green...I have pics..but cant find right now...also a Mongoose MX7 frame.... Any idea's what these might sell for? I now have arthritis...so rebuilding these frames is now prety much out of the question...so.. Cheers!
