I have an M901 XTR front mech that I really want to put on my Clockwork. Unfortunately the band size is 34.9 and altho it has an adapter it takes it down to 28.6. So, what I need is an adapter to take the band from 34.9 to 31.8. Anyone please?

I'm working on a wee one of these and before I bother unseizing the front end wondered if anyone can tell me whether it's 1" or 1 1/8". I'd guess it's 1" but would be handy to know. It's the blue one in the 1994 catalogue on Kona Retro. Maybe a question for Anthony?

Going to take a deep breath and tackle a very stuck seatpost in a frame I love. Have read Sheldon Brown and got to the bit where he says ammonia can be used for aluminium in aluminium. OK, so question is where do I get ammonia? Can anyone help please.
