I'm trying to install one of the above It fits the frame really nicely. But when I come to install the brake caliper, there is a vertical post between the two mounting points that prevents the installation I'm clearly doing something wrong - has anyone installed one successfully? If so...

I've often wondered about the safety factor of welding lugs onto a frame in order to take discs if the frame wasn't designed to take discs. It doesn't seem to me to be a good idea, though I may be being overly cautious. What do people think?

As it says in the title, the one rule being that the bodge had to work. My contribution: I broke the poploc on the fork lockout of the Whyte. (apologies for modern content!) Couldn't get to the shops to see if anyone has one in stock, so have used a SRAM left side twist grip... and it works...

I have a pair of Mavericks with 130 mm travel. I want to swap these for a pair of similar quality 80 - 100mm travel forks - my Coyote frame is not set up for 130mm of travel! The forks are hub specific but do come with an adaptor that allows Hope hubs to be used with the forks.
