    Dia-Compe DC980

Found these brakes last week in town and haven't been able to find much information on-line about them. Has anybody seen a set of these brakes? Arms are alloy, pads are Dia-Compe. They do function but the quality doesn't appear to be great, or at least on par with the Dia-Compe brakes i'm...

    Intesphere Tiger Racer

Just posting some images of my latest build, a early 50's German made Intesphere Tiger Racer. I kept as many original parts as possible, unfortunately the forks were bent so I had to dig out a Mercian fork which ride fantastic. Should work well for bar hopping/alley racing.

    I'm completely stumped

I'm thinking about taking a look at this bike today, mainly because I just can't figure out what it is. Not a Stumpjumper, Zaskar, Mongoose, Giant, NP....or the usual suspects. Seller claims it has a mix of XTR and XT, which I believe (m900 shifters?). Brakes look like Dia-comp, in any case...

    Mid-late 30's CPC, French content

Starting a thread on my new long term project, which I believe is a pre-war French bike. There seems to be quite a few posts on-line of this bike, i'm assuming the prior owner's postings. In any case i'm kicking off this thread with a few older pictures then showing the progress to where she...

1959 Liberia. Just sharing some pictures

Picked up this interesting Liberia locally a few days ago. Frame is straight, patina looks great. Big frame but I just couldn't pass it up.

    Bianchi ID?

Anybody know if this sweet looking bike is a Bianchi, late 60's maybe? Obvious repaint and mixed up build. Thanks!

    24" wheels?

No this bike wasn't designed for Andre the Giant, it's a 24" wheeled oddity from the late 70's? Seller claims the tt length is 20", or 51cm, so it's not nearly as large as it appears at first glance, in fact it's quite a bit smaller. Construction seems interesting with fillet brazing, diagonal...

    Peugeot PX10 in SLX

Are Columbus tubed PX's not as desirable as Reynolds tubed models? I've owned a couple of lower end Pugs which handled nicely but have no experience with the higher end models. The reason I ask is because I saw a drop dead gorgeous Peugeot yesterday with a full Mavic gruppo in purple/chrome for...

    Mysterious FS Comtek

This unusual fs popped up locally yesterday. Nothing about this bike looks familiar to me (other than the AMP fork). I can't see a rear shock or lower pivots but there seems to be a upper pivot. Anybody recognize this design or manufacturer?

    NAC information?

Just managed to obtain a very interesting NAC singlespeed from I think the early 90's. Not much information on-line about NAC other than being made in Oregon and they have a bit of a "cult" following in the western race circuit. Has anybody heard of the brand? Impressions?

    ROS9 Purple Reign

Nothing retro or classic about this build, just my new daily ride built to be as lightweight as possible without sacrificing reliability, or spending a fortune. Frame is a medium ROS in purple. 6lbs of oversized 4130. The idea behind the geometry is to have a slack hta, short cs, durable all...

    Stella SX-76

Another recent pickup, early 70's Columbus tubed, Campy equipped Stella. This will be a fun and relatively quick project, one I think is worthwhile on such a cool and mostly original top end bike from the early 70s. More pics and information will be posted as I proceed.
